Got a metric M16 x 1.5 port on a hydraulic block and need to tie into a JIC line on the other end. this fitting gonna work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 19, 2026, 9:57 AM
That's exactly the application this connector handles. One end is 1/2" JIC with a 3/4-16 UNF thread, and the other side is 16mm metric at M16 x 1.5. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading each side directly into its respective female port. It's a straight connector, steel construction, 38.3mm long and 22mm wide, made by Adaptall. No adapters or extra hardware needed to make that male-to-male JIC-to-metric connection work.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 UNF JIC on one side and the machine port is M16x1.5. is this the right adapter?

Match-up looks right for this connector. One end is a male JIC with a 3/4-16 UNF thread callout, and the other end is a male metric M16 x 1.5, so it bridges those two thread systems in a straight steel fitting.
