got a hose end that’s 7/8-14 UNF JIC male, will this adapter mate up to it and still give me an M18 x 1.5 male on the other side?

On the JIC side, you are working with a male 5/8 inch JIC with a 7/8-14 UNF thread. The other end is a male metric M18 x 1.5, and it includes a seal on that metric side.

Is that 42.2mm length the total length, or just the threaded part?
