Question by: Ralph C on Jan 12, 2026, 12:52 PM
trying to swap a fitting on a hose, is this the one that goes from 1/4 JIC male to M12 x 1.5 male with a 90 bend?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 13, 2026, 2:10 PM
On one end you have a 7/16-20 UNF JIC male, which is the 1/4 inch JIC size callout. The other end is an M12 x 1.5 metric male. It is a 90 degree elbow adapter, so it turns the line at a right angle.
Question by: Jimmy A on Feb 6, 2026, 9:12 PM
what's the thread size on both ends of this elbow adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 8:41 AM
One end is a 7/16-20 UNF JIC male fitting, and the other end is an M12 x 1.5 metric male. So you've got a 1/4 inch JIC side and a 12mm metric side, both male. That 90 degree bend makes it handy when you're working in a tight spot and need to change direction between those two thread types without a lot of extra hardware in the way.

Will this fitting hold up alright in an oily environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 29, 2025, 9:45 AM
This elbow adapter is made from high-quality steel and designed to withstand mechanical wear and tear, which makes it suitable for use in industrial environments where exposure to oil is common.
