What size o-ring does this back-up ring fit with?

Because these rings correspond to O-Ring sizes, this -020 dash size ring is made to fit with a -020 sized o-ring.

these back-up rings stretch for install and then snap back to size? just want to make sure i'm not gonna be fighting them into a tight bore all day

That's how they work. The urethane is flexible enough that you can stretch them over the o-ring groove during installation, and they return to their original shape pretty quickly once seated. Makes the process a lot smoother compared to stiffer materials that fight you the whole way.
