This straight Adaptall fitting features a male JIC (JIC 37° Flare) end on one side and a solid female JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) connection on the other.

The fitting is constructed from steel, offering durability in hydraulic applications. The Adaptall Ch Width is 35mm, and the Adaptall L Length is 52.1mm. trying to hook a JIC hose up to a JIS port, is this the right adapter?

Built for adapting between standards, it has a male JIC 37 degree flare on one end and a solid female JIS connection on the other, so it is meant for exactly that kind of JIC to JIS hookup.

Correct, it runs straight through with no offset or rotation. One end is a male JIC 37-degree flare in 3/4" with a 1-1/16-12 UN thread, and the other is a solid female JIS connection, also 3/4". Solid female means there's no swivel movement on the JIS side, so both connections are fixed in place once installed.
