Constructed from steel, this 90° elbow adapter connects a 1/4" Male JIS port to a 1/4" Male BSPT port, making it a practical solution for routing hydraulic lines at a right angle where two different thread standards meet. The 90* Male Jis X Male Bspt Elbow is part of the Adaptall fitting system, designed for compatibility across mixed-standard hydraulic assemblies.

Just making sure, this here elbow will let me hook up a JIS fitting to a BSPT one, right? Both are 1/4 inch.

That's correct. This 90° elbow adapter is designed specifically to connect a 1/4" Male JIS port to a 1/4" Male BSPT port.

Got a line coming off a JIS port and need to make a 90-degree turn into a BSPT fitting, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. One end threads into a 1/4" Male JIS port using a G 1/4-19 thread, and the other end connects to a 1/4" Male BSPT fitting with an R 1/4-19 thread. The 90-degree elbow lets you make that right-angle turn without bending your line or fighting for clearance. Both sides are the same 1/4" nominal size, so the flow path stays consistent from one end to the other.

trying to hook a 1/4 jis port to a 1/4 bspt port but i need to turn the line 90 degrees. is that what this elbow is for?

For tying two different thread standards together at a right angle, this adapter does exactly that. One end is a 1/4 inch male JIS with a G 1/4-19 callout, and the other end is a 1/4 inch male BSPT with an R 1/4-19 callout, so it works when you have JIS on one side and BSPT on the other.
