Got a Komatsu machine that needs a JIC line hooked straight into a male Komatsu port, this union do that without needing extra adapters in between?

That's exactly what it's built for. One end is a 1/2" JIC male fitting on a 3/4-16 UNF thread, and the other is a 22mm male Komatsu port connection. Both sides are male, so you're going straight fitting to port without stacking additional adapters. For a direct male to male hookup, it bridges a 1/2 inch JIC male with 3/4-16 UNF threads on one side to a 22 mm Komatsu male port on the other, all in a straight steel union.
