90* Fem Jic X Fem Jic Swivel

Description & Features

Configured as a 90° elbow, this steel swivel fitting connects two 1-inch female JIC ports at a right angle, with both sides threaded at 1-5/16–12 UN. The swivel function allows one end to rotate during installation or in service, reducing stress on adjacent fittings and making it easier to achieve proper alignment in tight or constrained spaces.

The 90* Fem Jic X Fem Jic Swivel is an Adaptall product, built to the dimensional standards typical of that product line. With an L1 length of 50mm and L2 length of 45mm, and wrench flats of 35mm and 38mm respectively, the fitting is suited for medium-duty hydraulic lines where a compact, angled female-to-female JIC connection is required. Steel construction provides durability in demanding hydraulic environments.

Wondering how much room I need to give this thing to actually swivel? Don't want it binding up against anything.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 14, 2026, 2:49 PM
You'll want to factor in the wrench flat dimensions for clearance. One side needs 35mm, the other 38mm for tightening and movement. So make sure your adjacent components leave that much free space.

got a 1-inch JIC line that makes a hard turn in a real cramped spot, both ends are female. this swivel elbow gonna let me get that connection made without twisting up my hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 20, 2025, 6:55 AM
For a female-to-female 1-inch JIC setup in a tight space, this fitting is exactly what you're after. Both ports are 1-5/16-12 UN female JIC, and the 90-degree angle handles that hard turn without forcing you to bend or torque the line itself. The swivel on one end means you can rotate it into position after everything else is snugged up, which takes a lot of the frustration out of working in a confined area. Steel construction holds up well in standard hydraulic environments, so once it's in place, it should give you a solid, stress-free connection.
