What size and thread type is this bonded seal, and is it a straight or tapered thread?

G 1/8 - 28 BSPP, which is a straight British parallel pipe thread. That's worth knowing upfront because BSPP and BSPT are easy to mix up when you're ordering replacements, and putting the wrong one in can cause all kinds of grief with sealing.
