Designed for straight-through hydraulic connections between JIC and metric threaded ports, this Mjic X Male Metric Port Only adapter from Adaptall offers a reliable transition in a compact steel construction. Side one presents a 1/4" male JIC fitting with a 7/16-20 UNF thread, while side two terminates in an M8 x 1.0 male metric port, making it well suited for equipment where these two thread standards must interface directly.

got a piece of equipment with an M8 x 1.0 port on it and need to tie into a JIC line, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 1/4" male JIC with a 7/16-20 UNF thread, and the other end is a male M8 x 1.0 metric port. Both sides are male, so it goes straight from port to port without needing anything else in between. Steel construction, straight profile, and it comes in at just under 28mm long, so it keeps things pretty tight and clean wherever you're fitting it.
