got a hose end that’s 1-1/2 JIC male, what’s the other side on this adapter?

On the other end you are getting a male metric DIN 2353L tube thread, sized M52 x 2.0 (often called L42). It is a straight steel adapter that goes from 1-1/2 inch JIC male (1-7/8 - 12 UN) over to that M52 x 2.0 DIN tube male connection.
