what's the thread size on the JIC end of this fitting, and does it hook up to standard 37-degree flare hose ends?

The JIC side runs a 9/16-18 UNF female thread, which is the standard size for 3/8" JIC connections. That thread pattern mates with 37-degree flare fittings, so it'll connect to any standard JIC male hose end of the same size without issue.
