Got a line running M30 x 2.0 metric tube on one end and need to tie into a JIC system on the other. this the right fitting for that?

Straight shot connection between those two standards is exactly what this fitting handles. One side is a female 1-1/16"-12 UN JIC, sized at 3/4" JIC, and the other is a male M30 x 2.0 DIN tube fitting at S20. Steel construction, straight configuration, no check valve needed and no adjustment required. If your tube and thread specs match up to those, you're good to go.

got a hose end that’s 1-1/16-12 JIC female, will this screw right onto it and give me a DIN M30 x 2.0 male on the other side?

Built for that exact conversion, it has a female 1-1/16 inch 12 UN JIC connection on one end and a male M30 x 2.0 DIN tube connection on the other. It is a straight steel connector.
