Designed specifically for demanding industrial environments the Nylon Abrasion Protection Sleeve from Brennan/SRM Industries Inc is an ideal solution for safeguarding hoses chains cables or springs. This smooth-bore sleeve is constructed from black Cordura or Anso-tex bulk nylon fiber yarn providing self-renewing abrasion resistance as filaments friz to form a thicker protective layer.

With an internal diameter of 1.00 inch this sleeve offers outstanding protection by deflecting hydraulic fluid spray in the event of hose failure thereby enhancing operator safety. The product is easily installed and can be secured using nylon cable ties or band-clamps. Additionally it extends the service life of hoses in harsh abrasive environments.

For applications requiring hose bundling this abrasion protection sleeve holds multiple hoses together ensuring identical flex patterns. It also eliminates the need for bulkhead couplings by allowing hoses to pass through metal openings unscathed. The sleeve meets the FMVSS 302 horizontal flame test and is MSHA accepted with a maximum ambient temperature rating of 250F.

got a 1 inch hose, is this sleeve gonna slide over it or is 1 inch the outside size?

does this sleeve work for bundling multiple hoses together or is it just for single hose protection?

Bundling is actually one of the stronger use cases for it. You can run two or more hoses through a single sleeve and it'll hold them together in a clean group. There's an added benefit too, hoses that need to follow the same flex path will develop identical flex memory when bundled, which helps with routing consistency over time. Securing the ends with nylon cable ties or band-clamps keeps everything from shifting around.
