The 2.07-inch ID nylon abrasion protection sleeve offers exceptional durability and abrasion resistance. This smooth-bore nylon sleeve is designed for easy installation over hoses chains cables or springs and can be secured using nylon cable ties or band clamps.
Constructed from Black Cordura or Anso-tex bulk nylon fiber yarn the sleeve features a doubled flat thickness of 0.090 inches 0.020 inches. The material is designed to self-renew creating a thicker protective shield as it wears.
Ideal for harsh environments this abrasion protection sleeve not only extends hose life but also provides crucial injury protection by deflecting hot hydraulic fluid spray in case of hose failure. Additionally it is suitable for bundling multiple hoses offering identical flex memory for hose groups and potentially eliminating the need for bulkhead couplings.
It has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 250F and meets FMVSS 302 horizontal flame test standards as well as being MSHA accepted.

Question by: Marvin R on Aug 26, 2025, 7:54 AM
trying to slide this over a 2 inch hose, is 2.07 ID gonna be the right size or am i asking for a fight
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 27, 2025, 9:19 AM
The key number is the nominal inside diameter of 2.07 inches. That size is meant to slip over hoses and similar items with an outside diameter up to about that range, and it is a smooth-bore sleeve so it goes on easier than rougher weaves.
Question by: Roy M on Nov 13, 2025, 5:59 PM
What size clamps would y'all recommend for securing this sleeve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 15, 2025, 1:56 PM
You can secure this nylon abrasion protection sleeve with nylon cable ties or band clamps.
Question by: Wayne J on Sep 30, 2025, 6:48 AM
does this sleeve hold up when its rubbing against metal edges all day, or is it gonna wear through pretty quick?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 7:54 AM
Wear is actually part of how this sleeve works. The nylon filaments friz as they get scuffed, which builds up a thicker protective layer over time rather than just thinning out. It's woven from Black Cordura or Anso-tex bulk nylon fiber yarn, so it's built for exactly that kind of constant contact. The material self-renews as it wears, so it keeps doing its job even in rough, abrasive conditions.
