Constructed with Black Cordura or Anso-tex bulk nylon fiber yarn this abrasion protection sleeve provides a highly durable shield for hoses chains cables or springs. Its smooth-bore design ensures ease of installation and secure attachment using nylon cable ties or band-clamps.

Exhibiting excellent resistance to wear the sleeve is ideal for extending hose life in harsh environments. The fabric woven from thousands of nylon filaments self-renews as it frays forming a thicker protective layer.

Additionally this product has been tested to pass the FMVSS 302 horizontal flame test and is MSHA accepted. It offers significant safety advantages by deflecting hot hydraulic fluid spray in the event of hose failure thus protecting equipment operators from potential injuries.

The sleeve's maximum ambient temperature rating is 250F making it suitable for demanding applications. It also facilitates the bundling of hoses for consistent flex patterns potentially eliminating the need for bulkhead couplings by shielding hoses through metal openings.

This abrasion protection sleeve is a practical solution for holding multiple hoses together ensuring they follow the same flex pattern and providing consistent flex memory for group bundles.

does this sleeve work for bundling multiple hoses together or is it strictly a one-hose deal?

Bundling is actually one of the better uses for it. You can run two or more hoses through a single sleeve and they'll all follow the same flex pattern, which helps keep bend memory consistent across the group. Makes routing a lot cleaner too, especially when hoses need to travel the same path over any distance.

What’s the thickeness of this sleeve, when flattened out?

Doubled flat, you're looking at about 0.090 inches, give or take a little like maybe 0.020 inches.

does this sleeve hold up if its getting scraped against metal edges all day long? asking because we run hoses through some rough steel openings on our equipment and they wear out way too fast
