SPX STONE 1 GAL ROUND STEEL RESERVOIR 6.

Description & Features

The SPX FLOW US LLC AC/DC HPU component is expertly crafted for advanced hydraulic applications. The Stone Pick-A-Pack range rooted in a modular construction system continues to offer flexibility with high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing technologies.

This 1-gallon round steel reservoir comes with integrated valve kits featuring four color-coded relief springs: Blue (300-599 PSI) Green (600-1299 PSI) Red (1300-1999 PSI) and Black (2000-4199 PSI). The reservoir also includes a mounting foot for capacities of 1.5 gallons and larger ensuring stability and ease of installation.

The AC motors deliver continuous duty operation but must be used within the rated kilowatts and with full voltage. For hydraulic systems with pump flows exceeding 3 GPM a larger suction strainer (part number 1413-AA) is recommended.

The current endhead design accommodates both imperial and metric mounting bolts and washers fostering compatibility with a wide range of hydraulic systems. This versatile endhead available with NPTF SAE or G3/8 porting serves as the foundational element in this interchangeable system.

Product Questions & Answers (4)

Question by: Lynn M on Feb 3, 2026, 6:24 PM
does this reservoir come with a mounting foot, or is that something i'd have to track down separate?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 5, 2026, 6:17 AM
Mounting feet are included on the 1.5 gallon and larger reservoirs in this product line. At one gallon, this particular unit does not include a mounting foot. If your setup requires one, you'd need to source it separately.

Will this reservoir fit on my Stone Pick-A-Pack unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 5, 2025, 2:09 PM
This reservoir is designed as part of the Stone Pick-A-Pack system, so it should fit if you're already using that setup. Just make sure the 1-gallon size meets your needs.
Question by: Hank J on Jul 17, 2025, 12:10 PM
trying to swap reservoirs on a Pick-A-Pack unit, is this the right tank for that modular setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 18, 2025, 5:42 PM
Built for the Stone Pick-A-Pack modular system, the reservoir is part of a mix and match setup where motors, pumps, reservoirs, and control valving are meant to interchange on the Pick-A-Pack endhead.
Question by: Denise R on Feb 14, 2026, 6:02 PM
got a Stone pick-a-pack setup already, does this KR40 reservoir match that modular endhead deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 16, 2026, 6:21 AM
Within the Pick A Pack system, the reservoir is meant to be part of a modular, interchangeable build that mates to the “international” endhead. That endhead is the base where the motor, pump, reservoir, and valving get assembled or manifolded together, and it is offered with NPTF, SAE, or G3/8 porting.
