Air-Driven Single Speed Pump, SPX AIR/HYDRAULIC PUMP, Outlet Port, ci Reservoir Capacity (Total/Usable)

Description & Features

This SPX Air/Hydraulic Pump is air-driven and single speed. The power unit of choice for major manufacturers of auto body and frame straighteners and other equipment. Operates at 40-100 psi shop air pressure at the pump.

The internal relief valve protects circuit components, and the air inlet filter protects the motor. The serviceable pump motor design provides economical repair, rather than being a throw-away unit. The permanently vented reservoir cap is included, along with standard type hydraulic fluid. This Air-Driven Single Speed Pump, SPX AIR/HYDRAULIC PUMP, includes an outlet port and a reservoir with a specified capacity. It measures 9.50L x 5.00W x 7.75H.

Question by: Cheryl M on Dec 31, 2025, 6:41 PM
Does this pump run off regular shop air, or does it need something special hooked up to it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 8:06 PM
Standard shop air works fine. It operates anywhere between 40 and 100 psi at the pump inlet, so most compressor setups you'd already have in a garage or production floor will get the job done without any special adapters or regulators beyond what you'd normally run.
Question by: Clint J on May 14, 2025, 3:18 PM
got a frame rack that runs off shop air, will this pump work with regular 40 to 100 psi air or is it picky
Answer by: Customer Support on May 16, 2025, 6:13 AM
Built to run on shop air in the 40 to 100 psi range at the pump, so it fits the same kind of air supply most body and frame equipment uses.
Question by: Janice M on Nov 5, 2025, 4:27 PM
What kind of air pressure do I need to run this pump? I've got a small shop setup.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 6, 2025, 4:34 PM
This SPX air/hydraulic pump operates using standard shop air pressure, anywhere from 40 to 100 psi.
Question by: Tammy B on Oct 7, 2025, 9:45 AM
runs off shop air, right? what psi range are we talkin for this thing to operate proper
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 5:29 PM
Shop air in the 40 to 100 psi range at the pump inlet is what this unit runs on, so most standard shop setups feed it just fine. It comes with an air inlet filter built in to protect the motor, and the internal relief valve handles circuit protection on the hydraulic side. As long as your compressor holds steady in that pressure window, you're in good shape.
