The Alpha Series Pilot-Operated Pneumatic Valve 4-way 2-position Spring Return 1/4 NPT (Side) Ports 50 Flow Rating features a compact space-saving design with large air passages enabling high flow capability.

With an operating pressure range from vacuum to 150 PSI and a temperature range of 0F to 180F this valve is suitable for various industrial applications. The spring return mechanism and urethane spool material guarantee efficient performance.

Ports are identified with ISO markings and the valve requires no lubrication ensuring lower maintenance needs. The unit's fast signal response times make it highly responsive - 14ms for double pilot 19ms for single pilot on and 26ms for single pilot off.

Crafted from zinc the body is durable and features bonded precision ground spools made from urethane and Viton. Flow rating calculations are based on 100 PSIG input and 85 PSIG output providing a consistent and reliable flow.

What kind of pressure range does this valve handle, and is it gonna hold up runnin on lower pressure pilot signals?

Operating range goes from vacuum all the way up to 150 PSI, so it covers a pretty wide spread of working conditions. Minimum pilot pressure sits at 50 PSI, so as long as your signal line is at or above that, the valve will actuate properly. The spring return means one side is always mechanically driven back, so you're not dependent on a second pilot signal to reset it.

trying to run a cylinder off this, is it a 4-way 2-position valve with spring return or am I mixing that up?

Function-wise, it is a 4-way, 2-position directional valve with a spring return spool action. That setup is commonly used to shift air flow for an actuator, then return to its normal position when the pilot signal is removed.
