Designed for stand-alone or remote valve installations, the Alpha Series Solenoid Operated Pneumatic Valve delivers reliable directional control in a compact, space-saving form factor. Configured as a 4-way, 2-position solenoid return valve with 1/4 NPT side ports, it operates across a pressure range of vacuum to 150 PSI with a flow rating of 50 SCFM.
The zinc body houses precision-ground urethane and Viton® bonded spools, and requires no lubrication. Fast signal response times, 22ms on single solenoid energize and 20ms on double solenoid, support cycle rates up to 600 cycles per minute. Ports carry ISO identification for straightforward installation alignment.
Coils are UL-listed and CSA-compliant, rated for 100% duty cycle (Class F), with AC and DC coils interchangeable on the same solenoid stem. Coil connectors meet Nema 4 classification. Operating temperature range is 0°F to 180°F, and 40-micron filtration is recommended.

Question by: Roger R on Jan 1, 2026, 6:18 PM
What kinda pressure range we talkin' 'bout on this valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 3, 2026, 6:29 AM
This valve is rated to handle vacuum all the way up to 150 PSI.
Question by: Shane B on Oct 16, 2025, 4:29 PM
got a tight little panel, are the ports on this valve on the side or the bottom
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 7:37 AM
For mounting in a tight spot, the ports are 1/4 NPT and they are on the side of the valve. The ports also have ISO identification marks, which helps keep the hydraulic connections lined up correctly during install.
Question by: Frank M on Mar 8, 2026, 3:12 PM
runs 600 cycles a minute seems high, is this valve actually built to keep up with that kind of pace, or is that more of a theoretical max?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 9, 2026, 9:09 PM
600 cycles per minute is the rated cycle rate for this valve, not a theoretical ceiling. The fast signal response plays into that, 22ms on single solenoid energize and 20ms on double solenoid. The Class F coils are also rated for 100% duty cycle, so continuous or high-frequency operation is within spec. As long as your supply pressure stays within the vacuum to 150 PSI operating range and your filtration is at 40 micron or better, the valve is built to handle that kind of demand.
