Designed for liquid applications the CAN Industrial Inc Aluminum Cam & Groove Barb Coupler ALC-075 ensures optimal performance under rigorous conditions. Featuring a robust body constructed from Aluminum A356 or A104 and durable cam levers made from brass this coupler provides consistent reliability. The coupling mechanism comprises plated steel pins rings and safety clips to prevent corrosion. The Buna-N seals offer excellent chemical and oil resistance maintaining the coupler's operational integrity. The built-in safety pin feature prevents accidental disassembly by securing connections during use offering an added layer of safety. Complying with the standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 this product ensures compatibility with other standard couplers excluding sizes 1/2 and 8. Pressure ratings stand at 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 - 4 and 75 PSI for sizes 5 to 8 making it suitable for various industrial applications. got a 3/4 hose with a barb end, is this the female cam lock half for that or am i lookin at the wrong piece

For a 3/4 inch ID hose, this part is the female cam and groove coupler with a 3/4 inch hose barb (hose shank). It is the female half that mates to a cam and groove adapter, and it’s made to interchange with standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 couplers in the standard sizes.

Got a line running liquid transfer on the farm and need something that'll lock up tight without comin loose on its own, does this coupler have any kind of safety feature to keep it from disconnecting accidentally?

Female cam and groove couplers in this line have cast-in lugs built into the body. Once the adapter is seated and the cam levers are pressed down, you can run a safety pin through those lugs and the slots in the cam lever arms. Until that pin is pulled, the coupler won't release. It's a real practical feature when you've got lines under pressure and don't want a bump or snag pulling things apart on you.

Is this coupler okay to use with, say, a chemical transfer setup?
