Product Questions & Answers (4)

Question by: Bobby F on Dec 21, 2025, 4:43 PM
What size hose does this connect to? I'm needing to hook it up to a 1-inch inside diameter hose.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 23, 2025, 6:23 AM
This coupler is made to fit a 1-inch ID hose, using the hose barb connection.
Question by: Denise C on Dec 8, 2025, 11:19 AM
got a 1 inch ID hose, does this female cam lock end have the right barb size for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 10, 2025, 7:48 AM
For a 1 inch ID hose, the hose shank on this coupler is sized as a 1 inch ID hose barb, so it matches that hose size on the barb end.
Question by: Chad C on Jan 3, 2026, 6:35 PM
Can this thing handle regular liquid transfer duty, or is it more of a light-use fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 5, 2026, 8:38 AM
For liquid applications it holds up well under continuous use. The aluminum body is A356 or A104 grade, which gives it solid corrosion resistance without the weight of steel. Cam levers are brass and the pins, rings, and safety clips are plated steel, so the hardware is built for repeated connect and disconnect cycles. Pressure rating on this 1-inch size is 150 PSI, which covers most standard liquid transfer setups without issue.
Question by: Norm H on Mar 20, 2026, 8:22 PM
What kind of liquids can I run through this? I'm mainly moving water but sometimes need to pump milder chemicals.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 22, 2026, 7:22 PM
Designed for liquid applications, this coupler isn't meant for compressed air or steam. For specific chemical compatibility, it's best to check the material safety data sheets to ensure the aluminum and Buna-N seals are suitable.
