This Aluminum Cam & Groove Coupler, Female Half, 3 Inch ID Hose Barb, offered by CAN Industrial Inc, ensures efficient liquid transfer while maintaining durability and high performance.

Constructed from high-quality Aluminum A356 or A104, the coupler features brass cam levers and plated steel pins, rings, and safety clips. Equipped with a safety clip, this cam lock fitting provides secure and reliable connections.

Designed for easy coupling and uncoupling, the adapter slides into the coupler with normal hand pressure, and the cam levers are pressed down to secure it. To uncouple, simply lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Notably, it interchanges with products produced to standard A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828, except for specific sizes. The pressure rating stands at 150 PSI for sizes 1/2" to 4", and 75 PSI for sizes 5" to 8".

Warning: This cam & groove coupling should not be used with compressed air or steam services.

For a 3 inch ID hose, ALC-300 is the female cam and groove coupler half with a 3 inch hose barb (hose shank) meant to be installed on the hose end.

what's the pressure rating on the 3 inch size, and is this thing rated for compressed air lines?

For the 3 inch size, you're looking at a 150 PSI pressure rating. That covers all sizes from 1/2 inch up through 4 inch. One hard limit worth knowing up front: cam and groove couplings like this one are not to be used with compressed air or steam under any circumstances. Liquid transfer applications only. If your setup involves air lines, you'd need a different type of fitting altogether.

i got a 3 inch hose. is this the female camlock that clamps onto the hose with a barb, or is it the other style?
