The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter 3/4 Inch Dust Cap by Can Industrial Inc is engineered for effective liquid transfer. Crafted from Aluminum A356 or A104 it provides reliable durability and resistance to corrosion. Brass cam levers and plated steel components further enhance its longevity.

Designed with a safety clip this 3/4 inch cam lock dust cap ensures secure and efficient coupling. Simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure to couple. To uncouple lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Featuring Buna-N seals it offers robust sealing capabilities for liquid applications. Note that these fittings are not for use with compressed air or steam services.

Compatible with products conforming to standard AA-59326 or DIN 2828 this adapter ensures interchangeability within industry norms. Pressure ratings are 150 PSI for sizes up to 4 inches and 75 PSI for larger sizes.

these cam lock dust caps, are they safe to run on an air compressor line or anything with steam going through it?

Compressed air and steam are both off the table for these fittings, full stop. Cam and groove couplings in this style are rated for liquid service only. Running them on an air line or steam application would be outside what they're built for and could create a real hazard. Stick to liquid transfer and you're in good shape.

got a 3/4 camlock setup, is this the little cap that keeps the junk out when the line’s not hooked up?

For keeping dirt and debris out of a 3/4 inch cam and groove connection when it is sitting idle, that is exactly what this dust cap is for. It is an aluminum cap with a Buna-N seal, made for liquid service where you want the end protected between uses.

This cap is designed for use with liquids. The Buna-N seals offer robust sealing capabilities for such applications. However, it should never be used with compressed air or steam.
