The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter 3 Inch Dust Cap crafted by Sunrise Hose provides reliable and secure connections with a durable aluminum A356 or A104 body. The product incorporates brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips ensuring strong corrosion-resistant fittings for liquid applications. Note that it should never be used with compressed air or steam.

Featuring Buna-N seals for enhanced sealing capabilities the ALDC-300 is designed to maintain performance integrity under pressure ratings of 150 PSI for sizes 1/2" - 4" and 75 PSI for sizes 5 - 8. Its interchangeability with products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 (except for sizes 1/2 and 8) ensures versatile adaptability.

Operation is straightforward: to couple slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with hand pressure; to uncouple lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. The safety pin feature includes cast-in lugs that lock the coupler in place preventing accidental disconnection.

Reckon this dust cap will fit on any standard 3-inch cam and groove fitting I already got?

Interchangeability is a key feature, so this cap should work with any coupler made to A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 standards. Just keep in mind that there's no standard for 1/2" and 8" sizes, so those might not interchange.

got a 3 inch camlock setup already. is this the cap that keeps the end from getting full of dirt when it’s not hooked up

For keeping a 3 inch cam and groove end clean between uses, this is the dust cap style. It covers the opening to help keep debris out, and it uses a Buna-N seal to help close it up.
