The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Male Half 1 Inch Female NPT is a durable and efficient coupling solution designed for liquid applications. Manufactured by Sunrise Hose under the brand CAN Industrial Inc this high-quality adapter features a body made from Aluminum A356 or A104 with brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips. The Buna-N seals ensure a reliable and secure connection.

With an interchangeability standard of A-A-59326 and pressure ratings of 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 - 4 and 75 PSI for sizes 5 to 8 this adapter offers robust performance. The coupling process is straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler and press down the cam levers with hand pressure for coupling and lift the cam arms for uncoupling.

Note that it is not suitable for compressed air or steam service. This adapter is compatible with fittings listed in the hose section of the catalog and features cast-in lugs for safety pins to prevent accidental uncoupling.

Been using cam lock fittings for years and always had to double-check on compressed air setups. This one alright for that kind of service?

Cam and groove couplings of this type are not rated for compressed air or steam under any circumstances. Liquid service only. If you're running a pneumatic line, you'd need a different style of coupling altogether. That's a hard limitation, not just a caution.
