Brass cam levers and plated steel pins, rings, and safety clips ensure robustness. This male half adapter features a female NPT, simplifying attachment with normal hand pressure by sliding the adapter into the coupler and pressing down the cam levers.

The Buna-N seals enhance reliability, while safety pins prevent uncoupling until manually removed, thanks to cast-in lugs passed through slots in special cam lever arms.

Designed for interchangeability, it aligns with standard A-A-59326, superseding MIL-C-27487F, or DIN 2828, except for 1/2rdquo; and 8rdquo; sizes. Pressure ratings are 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; - 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;.

what's the pressure rating on this 3 inch cam lock adapter, and is aluminum okay for liquid service?

For 3 inch size, the pressure rating is 150 PSI. Aluminum cam and groove adapters in the half inch through 4 inch range all carry that same 150 PSI rating. The body is cast aluminum, cam levers are brass, and the seal is Buna-N, so liquid service is what this product is built around. Just keep in mind these couplings are not rated for compressed air or steam under any circumstances.
