The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Male Half Inch Female NPT offers superior reliability for industrial applications involving liquid transfer. With a body crafted from durable aluminum A356 or A104 brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips it ensures robust performance under varying conditions.

This coupling easily interchanges with other products meeting the A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 standards. It features a user-friendly design for quick coupling and uncoupling with minimal effort. The integrated safety pin feature prevents accidental disconnection by securing the cam levers in place.

Designed for liquid use the adapter boasts pressure ratings of 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 - 4 and 75 PSI for 5 to 8 sizes. Notably these cam and groove adapters should not be used with compressed air or steam to avoid hazardous outcomes.

Hey, will this thing actually lock so it don't pop open on me?

The female couplers on these have cast-in lugs for safety pins. That way, once you put the pin in, the coupler can't be opened until you take it back out. Keeps things secure.
