The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Male Half 1-1/4 Inch Male NPT offers robust performance for fluid handling applications. Manufactured with high-quality Aluminum A356 or A104 this adapter ensures durability and reliable usage. Brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips contribute to its sturdy construction.

Designed to handle liquids efficiently this adapter should not be used with compressed air or steam. Featuring Buna-N seals the product guarantees a secure and leak-free connection. For added safety female couplers with cast-in lugs allow the attachment of safety pins preventing accidental uncoupling.

The adapter complies with interchangeability standards A-A-59326 and DIN 2828 ensuring compatibility with similar products. Pressure ratings for sizes 1/2 - 4 is 150 PSI while for sizes 5 - 8 is 75 PSI.

Coupling and uncoupling are straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure to couple and lift the cam arms to uncouple.

got a 1-1/4 inch male NPT port on my tank, is this the right camlock piece to screw into it?

With a 1-1/4 inch male NPT thread on the adapter, it’s meant to thread into a matching 1-1/4 inch female NPT port, then give you the cam and groove male half on the other end for quick coupling.

Yes, this adapter is made to the A-A-59326 and DIN 2828 standards, so it should work with any coupler built to those specs. Just be aware there's no standard for 1/2" and 8" sizes.
