The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Male Half 1-1/2 Inch Male NPT is engineered for effective liquid transfer applications.
Crafted from high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104 this adapter ensures superior durability. The cam levers are constructed of brass while the pins rings and safety clips are made from plated steel. Buna-N seals provide reliable leak resistance.
This model is designed for easy coupling and uncoupling. To couple slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. Female couplers with the safety pin feature have cast-in lugs for secure attachment until the pins are removed.
Interchangeability with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 is assured. Pressure ratings are 150 PSI for 1/2 - 4 and 75 PSI for 5 to 8.

Question by: Curt M on Nov 30, 2025, 7:12 AM
Can you use this with any standard cam lock fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 8:58 AM
Interchangeability is assured with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828. Keep in mind that no standard exists for 1/2” and 8” sizes, and those sizes generally do not interchange with other manufacturers.
Question by: Lee H on Sep 28, 2025, 6:50 PM
these cam and groove fittings, can they be hooked up to a compressed air line or used for steam?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 1:27 PM
Neither application is safe with this type of coupling. Cam and groove fittings like this one are rated for liquid service only. Running compressed air or steam through them is specifically prohibited, no exceptions. If you need quick-disconnect fittings for air or steam, you'll want a completely different product category.
