Designed for efficient liquid transfer applications this aluminum cam & groove coupler ensures reliable and secure connections. Constructed from durable aluminum A356 or A104 this high-quality cam & groove coupler features brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips ensuring longevity and robust performance.

This model includes a female half with a 3/4 inch male NPT thread suitable for various industrial settings. The safety pin feature provides added security by preventing accidental uncoupling making it ideal for demanding industry environments.

With superior interchangeability this coupler conforms to A-A-59326 and DIN 2828 standards ensuring compatibility with other products. For optimal function simply slide the adapter into the coupler and depress the cam levers using normal hand pressure. To disconnect lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Note: This product is designed explicitly for liquid applications. It should never be used with compressed air or steam services.

safety pins on these cam locks -- how exactly do they work? trying to figure out if this'll hold up in a situation where somebody might bump the lever on accident

Cast-in lugs on the female coupler body let you run a safety pin through once the adapter is locked in place. The pin physically blocks the cam levers from lifting, so an accidental bump or snag won't release the connection. You'd have to pull the pin out before you can uncouple it. Good feature to have anywhere there's foot traffic or equipment moving around near your lines.

Interchangeability is a key feature; this coupler conforms to A-A-59326 and DIN 2828 standards, meaning it should be compatible with other products made to those specs. Note that there isn't a standard for 1/2” and 8” sizes.

got a 3/4 male NPT port on my pump, is this the camlock piece that threads into it?

For a threaded connection, this one fits a 3/4 inch male NPT port because the coupler end is a 3/4 inch male NPT thread. The other side is the female cam and groove half that accepts a matching cam and groove adapter.
