Manufactured with high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104 this coupling component is designed for use with liquids and interchanges with products produced to standard A-A-59326. It features cam levers made of brass along with pins rings and safety clips constructed from plated steel. Buna-N seals ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.

To couple simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. A safety pin feature includes cast-in lugs for added security preventing uncoupling until pins are removed.

Size: 1-inch. Pressure ratings for 1/2 to 4 sizes are at 150 PSI and for 5 to 8 sizes are at 75 PSI. Note that this product is not intended for use with compressed air or steam service.

Materials such as aluminum body brass cam levers and plated steel components further enhance the durability of this coupling.

got a 1 inch male NPT port on my tank. is this the right camlock piece to screw in?

For a 1 inch male NPT threaded connection, this coupler matches that size and thread style. It is the female cam and groove half with a 1 inch male NPT end, so the NPT side is what threads into your 1 inch female NPT port.

Got a 1-inch male NPT fitting on a tank I'm trying to hook up to a transfer line. This cam lock coupler gonna thread right onto it?

A 1-inch male NPT thread on your tank fitting is exactly what this coupler is built to connect to. The female half threads onto the male NPT, and once that's seated, the cam lock side accepts a standard cam and groove adapter. Press the levers down with normal hand pressure and you're coupled up. It also interchanges with anything made to standard A-A-59326, so if you're mixing and matching fittings from different sources, compatibility usually isn't an issue in that 1-inch size range.
