The Aluminum Cam & Groove Coupler Female Half 1-1/4 Inch Male NPT by Can Industrial Inc is an excellent choice for liquid applications. Constructed from high-quality Aluminum A356 or A104 this coupler ensures durability and reliable performance under various conditions. The cam levers are crafted from brass and the pins rings and safety clips are made with plated steel offering a robust and corrosion-resistant solution.

Featuring a convenient safety clip the female half coupler allows for secure attachment preventing accidental disconnection. The coupling process is straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple simply lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. This model includes cast-in lugs for the attachment of safety pins ensuring an additional layer of security.

Designed to comply with the standard A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 this coupler is interchangeable with other products meeting these standards. The pressure rating for sizes 1/2 - 4 is up to 150 PSI while 5 to 8 sizes can handle 75 PSI. Note that fitting attachment suggestions are available in the hose section of the catalog.

got a 1-1/4 inch male NPT fitting already on my line, this female cam lock gonna thread right onto that?

That's what this coupler is built for. The female half has a 1-1/4 inch male NPT end, so it threads onto a matching female NPT port or fitting on your line. Once that connection is made, the cam lock side accepts a standard cam and groove adapter. Just slide the adapter in and push the cam levers down with normal hand pressure and you're locked in.
