Aluminum Cam & Groove Coupler, Female Half, 2 Inch Male NPT

Constructed from high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104 this coupler boasts brass cam levers and Buna-N seals to ensure durable and efficient liquid transfer applications.

With a 2-inch size this female half coupler features plated steel pins rings and safety clips providing reliability and longevity. The cast-in lugs on the female couplers enable attachment of safety pins preventing the coupling from disengaging unintentionally.

Compliance with A-A-59326 standards (superseding MIL-C-27487F) and DIN 2828 standards ensures excellent interchangeability except for 1/2 and 8 sizes. Pressure-rated at 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 to 4 and 75 PSI for sizes 5 to 8.

The coupling process involves sliding the adapter into the coupler and pressing the cam levers down with hand pressure. To release lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

does this coupler work with a standard 2 inch male NPT fitting, or do i need some kind of adapter in between?

Straight connection, no adapter needed. The coupler is a female cam and groove half with a 2-inch male NPT end, so it threads directly onto a male NPT port or fitting of the same size. To connect, you slide the adapter into the cam end and press the cam levers down by hand. That's all there is to it.

got a 2 inch line with male npt threads, is this the right camlock half for that

For a 2 inch male NPT threaded connection, this coupler is the female half with a 2 inch male NPT end. It is meant for liquid transfer service and it uses brass cam levers with a Buna-N seal.
