The Aluminum Cam & Groove Coupler Female Half 3 Inch Male NPT provides a reliable connection for liquid transfer applications in industrial settings. Designed with durable Aluminum A356 or A104 for the body brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips this coupler ensures longevity and dependable performance.

Featuring a safety pin mechanism this product prevents accidental disconnection enhancing operational safety. The 3-inch size offers compatibility for a wide range of standard applications. Interchangeability with products adhering to standard A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 ensures ease of integration into existing systems.

The coupling process is straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple simply lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. Buna-N seals are included to provide superior resistance to various liquids. Pressure ratings are up to 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 to 4.

got a 3 inch male npt hookup on my line, is this the female camlock half that threads onto it?

safety pins on these cam locks, how do they actually work? worried about hoses poppin loose mid-operation

Cast-in lugs on the female coupler body line up with slots in the cam lever arms once the adapter is fully seated. You run a safety pin through those lugs, and the levers physically cannot lift until the pin is pulled. So even if someone bumps the arms or there's vibration on the line, the connection stays locked. It's a mechanical backup, not just a friction fit.
