Constructed from high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104, this coupler is designed for reliable liquid applications. It features brass cam levers and plated steel pins, rings, and safety clips for durability under demanding conditions.
Easy coupling and uncoupling are made possible with minimal hand pressure. For enhanced security, the safety pin feature includes cast-in lugs that prevent uncoupling until the pins are removed.
Interchangeable with products produced to standards A-A-59326 and DIN 2828, this coupler supports pressure ratings of 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; - 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; - 8rdquo;. Note: Not suitable for use with compressed air or steam service.
Refer to the hose section of the catalog for fitting suggestions. Always consult for specific application recommendations.

we run a lot of pneumatic tools in the shop. can i hook this up to my main air compressor line for quick disconnects
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 25, 2025, 6:53 AM
Under no circumstances should cam and groove couplings be used for compressed air or steam. These fittings are strictly rated for liquid applications.
Question by: Dean H on Sep 28, 2025, 7:20 AM
safety pins on these cam locks -- how do they actually work? trying to figure out if it'll stay put once i get it connected
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 6:09 AM
Once you couple the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down, the female coupler has cast-in lugs built right into it. Those lugs line up with slots in the cam lever arms, and you slide the safety pins through to lock everything in place. The coupler physically cannot be uncoupled until those pins are pulled out first. It's a straightforward mechanical lockout, not just a friction fit.

What kind of liquids is this coupler good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 24, 2025, 2:00 PM
It's designed for use with liquids. Give us a call to discuss specifics for your application, though.
