CAN Industrial Inc. offers a reliable Aluminum Cam & Groove Coupler Female Half 6 Inch Female NPT designed for efficient liquid transfer applications. This coupler is constructed with high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104 for durability and corrosion resistance.

Featuring brass cam levers and Buna-N seals this coupler ensures a secure connection and smooth operation. The plated steel pins rings and safety clips provide additional stability and safety during use.

Notable for its safety pin feature the coupler has cast-in lugs that allow safety pins to be attached preventing accidental uncoupling. It interchanges seamlessly with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 ensuring compatibility and versatility in various settings.

With a pressure rating of 75 PSI for sizes 5 to 8 this coupler is unsuitable for compressed air or steam service. The operation is straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler press down the cam levers and lift the cam arms to uncouple.

pressure rating on this thing -- is 75 PSI enough for a 6 inch cam lock running liquid transfer, or should I be looking at something smaller for higher pressure work?

For sizes 5 inch through 8 inch, 75 PSI is the rated working pressure, so that applies directly to this 6 inch coupler. If your application runs at or below that, you're in good shape for liquid transfer. The smaller sizes in this cam and groove lineup are rated at 150 PSI, so if your system demands higher pressure, stepping down in size would be the path forward. Just keep in mind this coupler is not rated for compressed air or steam under any circumstances, regardless of pressure.

got a 6 inch female NPT line, is this the right camlock half for that or am i mixing things up

For a 6 inch female NPT connection, this is the female cam and groove coupler with a 6 inch female NPT threaded end, so it matches that thread style and size on the pipe side.
