CAN Industrial Inc. presents its Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter 1 Inch Dust Plug a reliable accessory tailored for use with various liquids. Crafted from high-grade Aluminum A356 or A104 this dust plug offers secure connections and easy handling. It features brass cam levers as well as plated steel pins rings and safety clips.

The coupling and uncoupling process is straightforward: simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press down the cam levers with normal hand pressure; to uncouple lift the cam arms to remove the adapter.

Note: This product should not be used with compressed air or steam.

Interchangeability adheres to standards A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 except for certain non-standard sizes. It supports pressures of up to 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 - 4 and up to 75 PSI for sizes 5 - 8.

The product also incorporates a safety pin feature for enhanced security. Female couplers with cast-in lugs allow attachment of safety pins ensuring the coupler remains secure until manually removed.

Can this dust plug be used on a compressed air line, or is it strictly for liquid setups?

Compressed air is a no-go with this coupling. Cam and groove fittings in this product family are not rated for compressed air or steam under any circumstances. Stick to liquid applications and you'll be in good shape.
