The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Inch Dust Plug is crafted from Aluminum A356 or A104 ensuring high durability. It features brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips. This dust plug is designed for use with liquids but is not suitable for compressed air or steam service.

The coupling process is user-friendly: simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press down the cam levers. To uncouple lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Interchangeability is a key feature with compliance to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828. Pressure ratings vary from 75 PSI for larger sizes to 150 PSI for smaller ones. Safety is enhanced through the inclusion of cast-in lugs which allow for safety pins to secure the coupler.

got a 1-1/2 camlock setup, is this the dust plug that goes in the female coupler when we’re not using it

For closing off an open female cam and groove coupler, this 1-1/2 inch aluminum dust plug is the piece that inserts into the coupler and lets you lock it in by pushing the cam levers down.

can this dust plug be used on an air compressor line or pneumatic fittings?

Cam and groove couplings in this product family are not rated for compressed air or steam service under any circumstances. The ALDP-150 is built for liquid applications only. Running it on an air line would be outside its intended use and could create a safety hazard.

How do I hook this dust plug up to a cam and groove fitting? Just press it in, right?
