The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Inch Dust Plug is engineered for reliability in liquid applications.

Constructed from durable Aluminum A356 or A104 for the body it ensures lasting performance. The cam levers made of brass combined with plated steel pins rings and safety clips provide robust coupling strength. The Buna-N seals enhance the adapter's resilience against various liquid types.

Designed for seamless interchangeability this adapter complies with A-A-59326 standards offering compatibility with a wide range of products. The pressure rating stands at 150 PSI for sizes 1/2" to 4" and 75 PSI for sizes 5" to 8".

For coupling simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down. Uncoupling is just as effortless by lifting the cam arms and removing the adapter. Safety features include cast-in lugs on female couplers for attaching pins ensuring secure connections.

Will this plug fit any standard cam and groove fitting of the same size?

Interchangeability is a key feature. It will fit any cam and groove fitting made to A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 standards. Just so you know, there isn't a standard for the 1/2" and 8" sizes.

what's the pressure limit on the 2-1/2 inch size, and is it safe to run compressed air through it?

Rated at 150 PSI for liquid service, which covers the 2-1/2 inch size. That said, cam and groove couplings in this product line are not to be used with compressed air under any circumstances. Same goes for steam. Stick to liquid applications and you're well within what this fitting is built for.

got a 2-1/2 camlock setup, does this dust plug match the A-A-59326 stuff or is it one of those oddball sizes

For 2-1/2 inch size, it is built to interchange with cam and groove products made to A-A-59326 (also referenced as DIN 2828). The “no standard exists” note only calls out 1/2 inch and 8 inch sizes as the ones that generally do not interchange with other manufacturers.
