Constructed with high-quality aluminum A356 or A104, this Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter, Inch Dust Plug ensures robust performance. The cam levers are made of durable brass, while pins, rings, and safety clips are crafted from plated steel. Seals are composed of Buna-N to guarantee a reliable seal. This product is designed for use with liquids only.

It seamlessly interchanges with all products meeting A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 standards, excluding 1/2rdquo; and 8rdquo; sizes. Pressure ratings are 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; to 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;.

Featuring a straightforward coupling and uncoupling mechanism, slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure or lift the cam arms to remove. Safety is enhanced with cast-in lugs on female couplers, allowing safety pins attachment to prevent accidental uncoupling.

what standard does this cam lock plug interchange with, and will it fit couplers from other brands?

Cam and groove fittings built to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 will mate up with this plug no problem. That covers the vast majority of cam lock couplers you'll run into from other manufacturers, so mixing brands is generally not an issue for the common sizes. Just keep in mind there's no recognized interchangeability standard for the half-inch and eight-inch sizes, so those tend to be hit or miss across brands.
