Crafted from high-quality Aluminum A356 or A104, this cam and groove adapter is designed for efficient liquid transfer applications. It features brass cam levers, while its pins, rings, and safety clips are made from plated steel. The seals of the adapter utilize durable Buna-N material.

To couple, simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with hand pressure. Uncoupling is straightforward by lifting the cam arms and removing the adapter. This item has been designed for interchangeability with products conforming to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828, ensuring compatibility with other industry-standard components.

Pressure ratings for this product are set at 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; to 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;. Note that our hose section provides fitting attachment suggestions specific to each hose type. Additionally, the female couplers incorporate a safety pin feature to prevent accidental uncoupling, which ensures safety and reliability during use.

what's the pressure rating on this 4 inch dust plug? trying to figure out if it'll hold up on our lines

For the 4 inch size, the pressure rating is 150 PSI. That applies to all cam and groove couplings in the half inch through 4 inch range. Once you get into the 5 inch to 8 inch sizes, that rating drops to 75 PSI, but you're well within the higher-rated range with this one.

i got a 4 inch camlock setup already. will this dust plug swap in with other brands or is it picky

For interchange, it follows the standard A-A-59326 (which supersedes MIL-C-27487F) and also DIN 2828, so a 4 inch size normally interchanges with other cam and groove parts made to those same standards.

what all is this dust plug made out of? trying to figure out if it'll hold up around some pretty harsh liquids we run through our lines

The body is cast from aluminum, either A356 or A104 grade. The cam levers are brass, and the pins, rings, and safety clips are plated steel. Seals are Buna-N. For most liquid transfer applications that's a solid material combination, though if you're running something particularly aggressive, the Buna-N seals are usually the first thing worth checking compatibility on for your specific fluid.
