Engineered for industrial applications, the Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter is built for durability and efficiency in liquid transfer operations. Featuring a robust aluminum A356 or A104 body, this adapter offers reliable performance in a variety of demanding environments.

The cam levers are crafted from brass for high strength and corrosion resistance, while the pins, rings, and safety clips are made from plated steel to withstand harsh conditions. Buna-N seals ensure a secure, leak-resistant connection, providing peace of mind during use.

Designed for easy coupling and uncoupling, simply slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple, lift the cam arms and remove the adapter from the coupler. Safety pins can be attached to female couplers with cast-in lugs to prevent accidental disconnection.

Interchangeable with all products produced to standard A-A-59326, this adapter is versatile and highly compatible. It is capable of handling pressures up to 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; to 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;.

these work with standard cam lock couplers from other brands, or do I gotta make sure I'm buying everything from the same place?

Cam and groove fittings built to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 will interchange with this adapter, so mixing brands is generally fine as long as both sides meet one of those standards. Worth noting that the half-inch and eight-inch sizes are exceptions to that rule since no universal standard covers those sizes, and compatibility with other manufacturers at those sizes is not guaranteed. For the one-inch size you're looking at here, you should be in good shape with any A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 compliant coupler.

These cam and groove fittings, can they handle air lines or steam? Got a mixed-use setup and want to make sure before I order.

Cam and groove couplings of this type are strictly rated for liquid service. Under no circumstances should they be used with compressed air or steam. That's a hard limitation regardless of pressure or pipe size, so if your setup involves either of those, you'd need a different coupling style entirely for those lines.
