Crafted from durable Aluminum A356 or A104 the Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter Male Half Inch Hose Shank ensures reliable and efficient coupling. With brass cam levers and plated steel pins rings and safety clips it guarantees longevity and robust performance.

Designed specifically for use with liquids this adapter features a seamless operation: slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. Uncoupling is just as simple by lifting the cam arms and removing the adapter. Caution must be taken as it is not suitable for compressed air or steam services.

This versatile adapter is interchangeable with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828. It supports various pressure ratings handling up to 150 PSI for sizes 1/2 to 4 and up to 75 PSI for sizes 5 to 8. Additionally the female couplers have cast-in lugs for attaching safety pins ensuring secure connection during use.

Hey, will this cam and groove adapter work with other brands?

Interchangeability is supported with all products made to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828. Just a heads up, there isn't a standard for the 1/2" and 8" sizes, so those might not work with other brands.

got a 1-1/4 hose, is this the right end to shove into it, or is it just for pipe threads?

Built for a hose connection, it is a 1-1/4 inch male cam and groove adapter with a hose shank. The shank end goes into the hose, and the cam and groove end slides into a matching female cam coupler.
