The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter, Male Half, Inch Hose Shank features an aluminum A356 or A104 body, paired with brass cam levers and plated steel pins, rings, and safety clips. This adapter is specifically constructed for use with liquids and is not suitable for compressed air or steam service.

Its coupling mechanism is straightforward: slide the adapter into the coupler and press down the cam levers with hand pressure to couple; lift the cam arms to uncouple. The product is interchangeable with other adapters produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828.

It offers a pressure rating of 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; to 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for sizes 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;. The seals are made of Buna-N, ensuring reliable performance in various operational environments. Safety pins can be attached to female couplers with cast-in lugs to prevent accidental uncoupling.

What kind of pressure can this handle? I'm using it for a pretty standard setup.

These aluminum cam and groove adapters are rated to 150 PSI for the 1/2" to 4" sizes. The larger 5" to 8" sizes are rated for 75 PSI.

Will this cam and groove adapter work with other brands?

Interchangeability is a key feature, as it's designed to work with all products made to A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 standards. Just keep in mind that 1/2" and 8" sizes might not always be a perfect match with other brands.
