The Aluminum Cam & Groove Adapter, Male Half, Inch Hose Shank is ideal for liquid transfer applications. It features a robust construction with an aluminum A356 or A104 body, brass cam levers, and plated steel pins, rings, and safety clips, ensuring durability and reliability.

Designed for easy coupling, slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. To uncouple, lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

This adapter is manufactured by Sunrise Hose, and it interchanges with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 or DIN 2828, excluding 1/2rdquo; and 8rdquo; sizes. The adapter's pressure ratings are 150 PSI for sizes 1/2rdquo; - 4rdquo; and 75 PSI for 5rdquo; to 8rdquo;.

Note that this product should not be used with compressed air or steam services.

Safety pins for female couplers with cast-in lugs ensure the couplers cannot be uncoupled until the pins are removed. The material composition and secure operation enhance its use in various industrial environments.

got a 4 inch hose. is this the male camlock end that shoves into the female coupler, with a hose shank on the other side?

Function-wise, it is a male cam and groove adapter that inserts into a matching female coupler, and the other end is a 4 inch hose shank meant to go into the hose.

To couple it, slide the male adapter into a matching cam and groove coupler and press the cam levers down using normal hand pressure. To uncouple, lift the cam arms back up and pull the adapter out.
