Got a tight spot in my engine bay routing and wondering if that 150-degree elbow gives enough clearance to run the -12 hose without kinking it back on itself. anybody else used these in a cramped setup?

That angle works real well for tight routing situations. A 150-degree elbow gives you a much shallower bend than a standard 90 or 45, so the hose follows a more gradual path away from the fitting. That helps a lot when you're working around headers, frame rails, or bulkheads where a straighter or sharper fitting just won't clear. The swivel end also lets you dial in the final orientation after the fitting is assembled, so you're not fighting a fixed position when the hose needs to land at an odd angle.

trying to tuck a -12 line up tight, is this the 150 degree elbow with the female JIC swivel end?

For tight routing, this one is the 150 degree elbow style and it terminates in a female JIC 37 degree flare swivel. The swivel lets you clock the connection where you want it after you get the fitting assembled on the hose.
