Question by: Steve W on Aug 19, 2025, 11:07 AM
trying to replace an old aeroquip elbow, is C1ZW81 the same as FBE1522 or are those different parts?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 2:29 PM
Both numbers point to the same fitting. C1ZW81 is the Eaton Aeroquip catalog number, and FBE1522 is shown as the supplier part number and SKU for that same item.
Question by: Dale R on Sep 19, 2025, 7:28 PM
So, this fitting's got that swivel end, right? Does that make it easier to tighten things down without twisting the hose all up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 21, 2025, 5:48 PM
That swivel definitely helps. It lets you rotate the fitting during installation, so you're not putting a bunch of unnecessary stress on the hose. Makes for a cleaner, less strained connection.

got a tight routing spot on a skid steer and need to change direction on a -06 hose line without kinking it up. would this fitting work for that kind of situation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2025, 7:15 AM
A 45-degree elbow is just right for that kind of tight-quarters routing. The angled configuration lets you redirect a -06 hose without forcing a bend that could stress the line, and the swivel end gives you some rotational play during installation so you're not fighting the hose to get everything aligned. The socketless design also means you can put it together in the field without any crimping equipment, which is handy when you're working on a machine away from the shop.
