Red/Blue Anodized Aluminum Reusable Socketless Fitting, -08 Hose & Female JIC 37 deg Flare Swivel, 45 deg Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for use with -08 hose, this Red/Blue Anodized Aluminum Reusable Socketless Fitting, -08 Hose & Female JIC 37 deg Flare Swivel, 45 deg Elbow from Eaton Aeroquip offers a lightweight aluminum construction with a distinctive anodized finish that aids in quick circuit identification. The 45-degree elbow configuration with a female JIC 37-degree flare swivel end makes it well suited for routing hose assemblies in tight or angled installations where straight fittings would create stress or space conflicts.

As a socketless, reusable fitting, it can be assembled and disassembled without specialized crimping equipment, making it a practical choice for field assembly or low-volume hydraulic hose fabrication. The swivel feature on the JIC end allows for easier make-up and alignment during installation. Catalog number C1CP88 references this fitting within the Eaton Aeroquip product line.

Question by: Rex M on Feb 5, 2026, 6:32 AM
got a tight routing situation on a loader build and a straight fitting just ain't gonna cut it, would this 45 degree elbow help clean that up without putting a bend stress on the hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 9:08 AM
A 45-degree elbow is exactly what helps in that kind of situation. Where a straight fitting forces the hose to make an abrupt directional change on its own, this fitting angles the connection off the port and lets the hose run a more natural path. That reduces stress at the end connection and keeps things from rubbing or kinking where space is limited. The female JIC swivel end also makes alignment easier during final tightening since you can position the hose before locking everything down.
