Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Sherry L on Jan 23, 2026, 8:18 PM
got a brake line fitting on an older machine that's got the 1/2-20 inverted flare end, but the other side needs to hook up to a JIC line. this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 25, 2026, 5:11 PM
For exactly that situation, yes. One end of this adapter is a 1/2-20 male 42-degree inverted flare, which matches up with standard inverted flare brake-style connections. The other end is a -03 male JIC with a 37-degree flare, so it'll mate with a standard JIC female fitting on your hydraulic line. Both ends are male, so you'll need female connections on both sides of whatever you're bridging. The aluminum body is anodized for corrosion resistance, which holds up well in environments where moisture or grime is a factor.
